“Darned kid.” City Lord Ludin smiled and pointed to Adolph. “Since I know why you’re here, why will I stop you?”

“You know he didn’t mean that.” Shao Qian took the bag from Adolph and handed it to City Lord Ludin. “It’s a pair. Take a look.”

Adolph took the glove off his hand and walked over to Shao Qian. “This old fox will never make a loss in business. How are we going to make him agree?”

“City Lord Ludin had agreed already.” Shao Qian gently knocked against Adolph’s forehead. “Didn’t he say that he won’t stop us?”

“But he didn’t say that he will support us!” Adolph was obviously unsatisfied with the ambiguous answer. He looked unhappily at City Lord Ludin who was fondling the sharp blades in admiration. “We should give it to him when he makes things clear.”

“This darned kid.” City Lord Ludin feigned anger. “Will I renege on the things that I have agreed on?”

“Okay. Just tell us when we can leave.” Adolph had never been polite to him. Of course, his impoliteness was completely within the norms. He knew how to speak in order to not annoy City Lord Ludin.

“In half a month, the news that there is a Zerg Queen will spread through the mainland. Take advantage of this opportunity to rush directly into the desert.” City Lord Ludin put down the sharp blades in his hands. He looked seriously at Adolph and Shao Qian. “If you’re going to the battlefield, you are fighting with your life. The Zergs will not have compassion for beastmen or half-beastmen. They only eat and kill.”

“Uncle Ludin, I can’t say righteous words about protecting the planet. Moreover, the beastmen disdain having half-beastmen protect them. We just want an opportunity for the planet to recognize half-beastmen.” Shao Qian lightly smiled. “We are also very selfish. We don’t want to live in the underground city for a lifetime nor do we want our descendants to live in hiding.”

“Since you’re going, then you have to make preparations for death.” City Lord Ludin frowned deeply. “Before going to the battlefield, every beastmen will leave behind a will. Before you leave, have every half-beastman write one too. Have them also leave behind an article of clothing and the locations of their hometowns. If they die, I will send the letters and clothing to their hometowns.”

“That’s natural.” Shao Qian nodded. “I also hope that you can gather some pig iron for me. I need to forge some weapons for the half-beastmen.”
